She says she’ll think about it, then pointedly tells him she’ll see him tomorrow when his bus arrives. The four friends head to the bus stop together, and when Dong-man hears Ae-ra mention a possible date and Seol-hee ask if she’s going to stay out all night, he tells her to come home early. Joo-man marvels that Dong-man and Moo-bin keep competing for the same girls, remembering Bo-ram from high school, but it’s news to the dense Dong-man that Moo-bin liked her, too. She says she wants someone sweet and forward, someone that’s just hers.Īe-ra’s love life is the primary topic of conversation over breakfast the next morning. She tells Dong-man that life is too short not to have fun dating, and that she needs more than just a guy friend. Ae-ra asks dryly if he’s ever been slapped while eating, ha. Dong-man repeats that Moo-bin seems fake and weird to him, wondering how he could call Ae-ra a goddess. She explains that she didn’t like Moo-bin much at the beginning either, but he grew on her. They stop to eat at Coach Hwang’s soondae truck, where Dong-man pesters Ae-ra about her new dating status. Dong-man rolls down the window just enough to shoot Moo-bin a smug glare as they drive off, HAHA. When the cab arrives, Dong-man jumps in beside Ae-ra, which has Moo-bin squawking that he should sit in the front seat. Dong-man yells a loud “HEY!!” and throws a rock at Moo-bin, because he is apparently twelve years old, and growls that they need to get a cab and get home. He puckers up for another kiss, and Ae-ra leans away looking uncomfortable. He says she can’t take it back now, and he asks for those ten dates again. Ae-ra apologizes for making that sudden announcement, but Moo-bin is tickled to death, even though Ae-ra admits that she’s not head over heels for him. Ae-ra tells him that as a friend, he should congratulate her, because she and Moo-bin are now officially dating.Īfter relocating downstairs, Dong-man seethes and glares at Moo-bin and Ae-ra as they talk. He yells, “I like you!” but he adds that she, Joo-man, and Seol-hee are all important to him. Dong-man has no ready answer for that, so Ae-ra asks, “Why, do you like me?”ĭong-man’s brain shorts out again, as it always does when he gets flustered by Ae-ra. Oh sweetie, I know what you’re trying to say, but it’s time to stop talking.ĭong-man tells Ae-ra to keep her distance from Moo-bin, but she asks why she should do that when Moo-bin likes her so much. Dong-man says that that’s how he knows Moo-bin is a fraud, because Ae-ra is no goddess. She asks if there’s some reason she can’t date Moo-bin, who does things to impress her and calls her a goddess. Flustered, Dong-man gulps, then blurts out, “I’m her guardian!” Ae-ra grinds her teeth, muttering that she could stab him, ha.ĭong-man warns Moo-bin not to cross the line or he’ll lose his temper, so Ae-ra asks why he’s so angry. Moo-bin tells Dong-man to drop the “friends” act, asking if Dong-man likes Ae-ra, and Ae-ra watches for Dong-man’s answer with great interest. Dong-man demands to know why he was kissing Ae-ra, telling Moo-bin that he should make the relationship status clear before kissing her. Throwing the door wide open, Dong-man barges in and asks, “Are you two dating?!” and Moo-bin stammers that they’re not. But then he stops himself, turns, and storms back. Round 7: “Who on earth are you looking at?”ĭong-man walks in on Moo-bin kissing Ae-ra, and with an expression of hurt and betrayal, he slams the hospital door and turns to leave. Hopefully that just means that the truth can’t be far behind, though where that truth will take our four friends and their relationships is anyone’s guess. So many lies can’t possibly be sustainable, and things are about to blow wide open in a big way. It seems as though everyone is lying to everyone else lately-about their feelings, their actions, and they’re even lying to themselves. 230 JJFight My Way: Episode 7 by LollyPip
